Corns & Calluses

Corns and calluses are thick, hardened layers of skin and are one of the most common foot complaints seen in our Timperley podiatry clinic. The hard skin forms from pressure or friction on the foot, meaning a variety of reasons from footwear to the way you walk can be the root cause of their development.

Corns are small conical shaped areas of hard skin.   Calluses are hard and rough-feeling areas of skin that typically develop on the feet due to rubbing and friction.
